"Our first experience with Main Street Animal Hospital and Dr. Wood was when we had to bring our 14 year old cat to be put to sleep. We don't like to think about losing our pets, but I wanted to commend Dr. Wood and her staff for the caring and compassionate treatment that they gave our cat and family during this difficult time. The hospital even sent us a condolence card afterwards, which meant a lot to us. It is very apparent that Dr. Wood cares very much about the pets she treats. She demonstrated her compassionate nature a second time when we sadly lost a kitten that we had gotten through a pet adoption event. I would highly recommend Dr. Wood and the Main Street Animal Hospital to anyone needing compassionate quality care for their furry family members."
"During my visit I was very pleased with everything!! They were very kind and caring towards my pet!"
"I am very impressed with the caring personnel, the details such as the candle at the desk asking people to speak softly when someone is losing their friend."
"This practice makes you feel immediately at home. Reminds me of what a "country vet" used to be. Very professional and kind. Fees are very reasonable."
"Case was fairly complicated and dr wood spent an hour plus trying to figure out what was going. She allowed me to be heavily involved in the assessment process the whole time. Very collaborative approach which is the most important thing to me in a vet. I like to be there during all aspects of treatment and she didn't mind my doing that. Very impressed."
"One of the best vet clinics I've ever been to. The staff was so friendly. The office itself was very clean and maintained well. They treated my pup with respect and informed me of every detail I needed to know. I will most definitely recommend this hospital to anyone with pets of any need."
"I had the pleasure of working with Dr Wood in emergency medicine for dogs and cats for a few years. I loved how the clients always felt at ease when meeting her and leaving their pets in her care if needing overnight care. She was extremely thorough and you could feel the compassion as she spoke while examining the animals and speaking to the owners . She's super down to earth and I wouldn't hesitate taking my little furry kid to her or referring someone to her."
"I placed my Doggie Spot in the care of loving hands for shots as well as neuter. I was able to make one call to set the appointment up, dropped him off with no wait, as well as pick him up with no wait. He is doing great and the staff even gave me suggestions for better pet health."
"Thank you for being so kind to Sammie and me. I have every confidence in your facility and look forward to being a regular there with her."
"Main Street Animal Hospital is "top notch". It is obvious that Dr. Wood enjoys her work and puts the care of animals first. Our cat has diabetes and she explained all our options and why she chose the specific action plan for our cat. We live on the West Side of town and I will make the drive to Amelia because I was so impressed. "
